EK Releasing New Slim/Thin 140 and 280mm Radiators

EK Water Blocks is releasing new radiator models with 140 and 280mm sizes in the “SE” subcategory.

SE radiators are made to have the smallest dimensions possible in order to be compatible with as many cases as possible.

Radiators are only 140mm wide and only 28mm thick. This makes them capable of fitting in spaces that were not really designed for radiators but only for fans.  Of course there is some overhang on two side for the radiator end tanks, but most cases that will fit an AIO unit of the same size will also fit these radiators.

• Copper fins
• 90% copper tubing (H90)
• Brass chambers
• Aluminum/Steel housing
• FPI: 22
• Port threads: 2x G1/4″
• Fan compatibility: any standard size 140x140x25mm fan
• Fan mount thread type: UNC 6-32 thread tapping

While the core of the radiator is small, the FPI makes up for that and provides large surface area to dissipate heat.  However based on our testing of the 120mm based SE radiator we do expect this to be the lowest performing option you can get.  However as it is the smallest option you can get then it will work where no other radiator will.  For that reason alone we are very happy that EK are launching these.
