Summary
The Summit EF X is a very low restriction block that gives a performance update to the aging EF block. However performance is still lower than it should be as Bitspower cede 3C to the leading performer. At $85-95 it’s also not the cheapest option out there.
Bitspower have never given us the best thermal performance, however they have always given us other things like exceptional quality and unusual accessories like spare o-rings. For those who are tied to a brand or must have the lowest restriction cpu block then this should be on the buy list, but for everyone else there are better performing choices.
