Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider is a 2013 action-adventure video game published by Square Enix. Tomb Raider is the fourth title developed by Crystal Dynamics in the Tomb Raider franchise. As the first entry in a new Tomb Raider continuity, the game is a reboot that emphasizes the reconstructed origins of the culturally influential lead character Lara Croft. TombRaider was released on 5 March 2013 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and on 23 January 2014 for Mac OS X. Tomb Raider is presented in third-person perspective. Players take control of the series lead character Lara Croft. The game uses an interconnected hub-and-spoke model that combines action-adventure, exploration, and survival mechanics.[8] Players can traverse between the camps and across the island using footpaths, improvised or already-available ziplines and climbable tracks. Again let’s start with 1080p
Despite the absurdly high frame rates, the 295×2 is well utilized here. This is not a surprise though. Tomb Raider was a game designed to show off AMD’s new hair technology (TressFX).
When the 295×2 has been optimized well then it powers ahead of the Fury X. The question is yet again, does it hold for 4k?
Again good utilization across the board. FPS looks as expected too.
So again when a game is a focus of AMD development then Crossfire seems to work well. Hardly a surprise there I suppose!
Now that we have a bunch of data let’s take a look at in more depth.
