Pros
– Compact mini ITX case with a unique designer look
– Optional window included
– HDDs and ODDs are pre wired and quickly mounted.
– Given the small space having the option for 2×2.5″ HDDs and an ODD even if slim is impressive
– Space for a short CPU cooler and a 1.5 slot half height PCI card – the only real use I can see for this though is a low power GPU, or an after market WiFi card or an M.2 ssd card.
Cons
– Sleeving is often see through and wiring is multicolored. Requires a full resleeving to be “presentable”
– ODD is only secured on one side
– Motherboard IO plate is loose
– No option to mount horizontally, for example to fit into a home theater rack.
Summary – Silver Award
In Win has yet again produced a case that really exemplifies their design aesthetic. It’s attractive and comes in multiple colors as well as coming with a glass window. It also includes a 180W power supply in the price. Given the PSU and the use of Aluminum then the price is not unreasonable. This is really the perfect HTPC case for those who already have a NAS. It’s compact without going full compromise by getting a NUC. It remains attractive and my only complaints are really niggles that can be fixed with a little custom sleeving.
