Asus Strix Tactic Pro Mechanical Keyboard Review

Today we have a keyboard review for you and this one hops on the popular mechanical keyboard bandwagon. This is the Asus Strix Tactic Pro:

This is from Asus’s popular owl and orange themed Strix gaming line up.  So first off – those mechanical switches are Cherry MX – phew no knock offs here!  This particular version came with brown switches, but black, red and blue switches are all options.  My preference is blue, but all are significantly better than a membrane switch.

The back of the box goes over some of the other features including LED backlighting, 100 key roll over (yes 100!) and 21 additional macro keys.

Unlike a lot of the ROG produts there is no flap on the box to lift up and see the product through a windo before buying.  You have to open the box before you get your first glance at the keyboard:
Packaging is good and the box would have to be really damaged before the keyboard itself gets hurt.
