HardwareLabs Alpha Xtreme III 360 Radiator Review
The intention of this radiator review is to provide information and performance data about the HardwareLabs Alpha Xtreme III radiator for inclusion in the Extreme Rigs Rad Round Up 2015. I’ll be keeping the review section short and factual, focusing on presenting the performance data compiled through the numerous tests carried out.
Note: The Alpha Xtreme series is EOL and very difficult to find. It was replaced with the GTX Gen 2 series from HWLabs.
What’s in the box?
The Xtreme III being tested was pulled from storage for the review/round-up. It is used and was stored in it’s original box. It received a thorough clean inside and out, prior to any tests commencing.
The original box survives. I assume it had an outer retail sleeve but I’m not certain.
The lift up flap at one end for the screws is perfect, keeping them away from the precious core. The screws were long gone in the unit I pulled from storage.
After a flush and clean up it looks just like new.
Extent of Delivery:
1x Radiator
Screws – I am not certain what size screws the Alpha Xtreme III shipped with as the info states “self-tapping and case mounting holes for easy installation of 120mm fans”. My unit has been previously tapped with M4 threads.
Onwards to technical specifications!
