The 5Noz was DT’s first block – DT sent me two a while back for use in my build (Project Thief). The block is now discontinued in favor of the sniper block. So these photos of the box aren’t the exact unboxing- they are from the sniper. However the packaging was basically the same:

After testing was complete I took the block apart:

The jetplate design is what enables the very high flow, the channels are broken down into section and essentially run in parallel:

Conclusion
DT shook up the industry a bit with this block. At the time it was the lowest restriction block out here by far. It had great quality and felt really nice and solid. The ports were super widely spaced and I had great hopes. The thermal performance is pretty middle of the road but the mount really needed improving. The high flow and high quality makes up for that at least.
Overall 7/10
